TAMBA releases Energy Bill Revolution website

For the last couple of years we’ve done so many apps, viral games and social media campaigns that people have started to forget our heritage as a web design agency! So we’re absolutely delighted after a long hiatus, to present our latest website launch for the Energy Bill Revolution.

The Energy Bill Revolution is a campaign calling on the Government to use the money it gets from carbon tax revenue to make UK homes super-energy efficient.

Groundbreaking analysis undertaken by energy efficiency experts Camco has calculated that on average the Government will raise £4 billion a year in carbon taxes over the next 15 years. They estimate that if this revenue were recycled to households to spend on energy efficiency measures, it would be enough to bring 9 out of 10 households out of fuel poverty. Read more

Our first award nomination of 2012

We were delighted to be notified this week that we have made it to the finals of the Travel Marketing Awards 2012, in the Best Use of Viral Communication category for our advergame – Happy Days – for Butlins 75th anniversary.

The game has been recognised by a group of esteemed judges including Andrew Shelton, the Marketing Director of Virgin Holidays and Jeremy Ellis, Marketing Director at TUI. Read more

TAMBA takes home two more awards in the Golden Twits 2011

Last night saw the announcement of the Golden Twit Awards 2011 at Wembley Stadium as part of the Social Buzz Awards event.

TAMBA were finalists in 4 categories – Design, Gaming, Corporate Individual & B2B and we were delighted to scoop two trophies in the Design and Gaming categories.

The awards exist to reward Britain’s best twitterers and is judged by members of BRATS – The British Academy of Twits. These are past winners such as Eamonn Holmes, Duncan Bannatyne and meerkat Aleksander Orlov.

This brings our total award count for 2011 to four awards – after scooping Social Media Agency of the Year at The COGS and Technology Woman of the Year for our CEO, Kay Hammond, in the Network of Aspiring Women Awards.

TAMBA produces Crazierbrands, a suite of minigames for Reckitt Benckiser

We’ve recently designed and developed crazieRBrands, a suite of eight fast and fun online and mobile mini-games, developed in partnership with RB’s creative agency The Workroom.

Available on www.rb.com/crazierbrands, the mini-games are designed to raise awareness of RB’s corporate brand amongst the college, MBA, and early careerist demographic. The games are also available as iPhone and Android phone apps, putting RB squarely in the sweet-spot of its target demographic. Roughly 70% of this young careerist demographic owns a smart phone, and 81% of them play mobile games on a weekly basis. crazieRBrands are supported by a social media seeding strategy which targets relevant gaming portals, news groups and communities. TAMBA CEO Kay Hammond named Technology Woman of the Year 2011

The CEO of TAMBA, Kay Hammond, has been named as the winner of the Woman in Technology and Engineering category at the Network of Aspiring Women Awards 2011.

Held at Villa Park Birmingham, the awards celebrate the successes of women nationally and aim to help them connect to do business together, encouraging them to go higher in their chosen profession.

The win comes at a successful time for TAMBA after the digital marketing agency also picked up the Social Media Agency of the Year 2011 accolade at the recent 2011 COGS Awards.

Competing against four other finalists in her category, Kay said: “It’s fantastic to have won this award – I am completely stunned! The other nominees are all inspirational individuals and to be named as the winner, by judges that I truly admire, is a huge, huge honour.

“It’s been a great few months for us and I’m looking forward to working with the team at TAMBA to take the company from strength to strength”. Read more

Staffordshire-based digital agency TAMBA has today launched a game for Zurich-based Smart Object producer, Koubachi and it’s first product, the interactive Koubachi Wi-Fi Plant Sensor.
