SPORTPOST LAUNCH REDCARD VIRAL GAME | 19/01/2010
TAMBA's latest viral game has been developed for Sportpost, a brand new UK sports portal created by fans for fans. To announce their launch, Sportpost have granted fans a rare opportunity - the chance to give their footballing anti-heroes exactly what they deserve!
In "RedCard", TAMBA's designers have created a series of less-than-flattering caricatures of several well-known faces from the world of football. As the player, it is your job to select which of these prima-donnas you want to get your studs stuck into. Once chosen, your opponent will have the ball at his feet - it's your job to take it from him... any way you can! Kick, tackle shoulder-barge or headbutt your opponent to the ground. The more red cards you collect, the better your score.
RedCard also offers an online leaderboard where players can compete to achieve the highest score, and a "send to friend" facility for sharing the game with others. The game is fully branded with Sportpost's logos and colour scheme and presents numerous click-through opportunities to the client's website.
