Head of New Business / Account Director / New Media Senior Sales

We are a market-leading digital marketing and new media agency and we urgently require an experienced Head of New Business Development. We already have an outstanding client list of international brand names including Sony Blu-Ray, the BBC, Match.com, Cancer Research UK and Virgin Active to name just a few. We are now looking to recruit a new member to our team who can add to that impressive list.

You'll be an experienced and polished sales person with an outstanding track record. You'll be completely confident in picking up the phone and bringing in the leads / booking meetings. You'll be just as comfortable presenting credentials and pitching face to face, and of course you'll be an enviable closer.

Due to our specialist skills in award-winning viral marketing, our services are in great demand both by end customers and other agencies so there really is an infinite amount of new business to exploit!

The role will be a mix of home based, in the field, in our HQ office in Burntwood, Staffordshire and satellite sales office in Great Titchfield Street, London.

You will also be required to attend exhibitions, which means a flexible approach to overnight travel is a must. A full, clean driving licence is also essential.

Skills and experience:

  • Professional and polished on the phone and face to face
  • Resilient, tough and goal-oriented
  • A confident telephone manner with great appointment-making skills from cold prospects
  • Formal sales training preferred - able to demonstrate success in prospecting, selling and achieving ambitious targets
  • Able to grasp new concepts quickly and think on your feet
  • A background in a high activity environment
  • An ethical and enthusiastic approach
  • The ability to build trust and rapport quickly with a wide range of personalities
  • Previous experience selling digital marketing, websites or related solutions preferred.
