Kylie promotes Aphrodite album with Viral and Mobile Activity

Objective:
Kylie Minogue is one of the world’s most recognised music stars. For the release of latest album, Aphrodite, it was decided to use viral and mobile activity to bring fans into Aphrodite’s world.
Activity:
We were tasked with creating an online game in which players were tasked with rescuing Kylie from nemesis Hades. The game, which is set over 10 levels, has a retro feel and is accompanied by an instrumental version of one of the album tracks. Links are embedded within the game to allow people to purchase the album with ease.
Setting this game completely apart, we also scripted dialogue for the game which was voiced by Kylie Minogue herself giving a real “wow” factor for her fans.
The game was then re-engineered individually for iPhone and iPad platforms and has been made available from 1st December on the App store.

Results:
The game has seen a large volume of activity across all platforms and has seen much noise generated by fans on Facebook and Twitter, exponentially extending the campaign’s natural reach.
