Digital Account Manager / Account Handler / New Business Developer

We are a market-leading digital marketing and new media agency and we urgently require an experienced Account Manager with business development and new business generation skills to work from our Staffordshire offices.

We already have an outstanding client list of international brand names including Sony Blu-Ray, Thomas Cook, Heineken, Cancer Research UK and Virgin Active to name just a few. We are now looking to recruit a new member to our team who can add to that impressive list as we'll as looking after our existing clients.

You'll be an experienced and polished account manager with an outstanding track record. You'll be confident in presenting ideas and pitching new solutions to your clients as well as planning campaigns and ensuring their delivery on time and on budget.

Due to our specialist skills in award-winning viral marketing, our services are in great demand both by end customers and other agencies so there really is an infinite amount of new business to exploit!

Reporting to the Sales Director, the role is based in our HQ office in Burntwood, Staffordshire though regular travel to our satellite sales office in Great Titchfield Street, London will be required as will client site visits.

You will also be required to attend exhibitions, which means a flexible approach to overnight travel is a must. A full, clean driving licence is also essential.

Skills and experience:

  • Professional and polished on the phone and face to facev
  • Resilient, tough and goal-oriented
  • Able to grasp new concepts quickly and think on your feet
  • A background in a high activity environment
  • An ethical and enthusiastic approach
  • The ability to build trust and rapport quickly with a wide range of personalities
  • Experience in planning complex digital campaigns
  • Previous experience selling and account managing digital marketing, websites or related solutions preferred.
