Business Development Manager (permanent) Salary: £30k-£50k basic (dependant on experience), uncapped commission and company car
We are currently seeking a top level Business Development Manager with a hunger for success and a desire to develop accounts in our small yet highly successful and high profile agency. You must have at least two years of previous high level sales experience and be able to provide references accordingly.
We are looking for candidates with a combination of the following skills and demonstrated experience:
- Highly motivated with demonstrated track record in senior level sales with blue clip and brand name clients - Minimum 2-3 years business experience
- Prior sales experience in a Web / digital / marketing related company is preferred
- Strategic sales focus- relationships and integrity are core to our business
- Excellent proposal development and bid management skills
- Previous competitive pitching skills preferred
- Strong values - Integrity, Teamwork, Excellence, Innovation and Commercial Discipline
- Well developed prospecting skills
- Excellent presenting ability
- Proven experience in a challenging target-driven environment
- A good understanding of Internet technologies
- Previous experience with ACT sales management software
- Any previous experience of growing a digital / agency business a bonus
This is a unique and exciting opportunity for an ambitious, goal-oriented self-starter to shape the growth of our agency. You will report directly to the Managing Director.
The role is based in our fantastic canalside studios with excellent career progression opportunities, and the successful applicant will have the opportunity to work with some of the UK's most prolific and successful brands.
Whilst the position is based out of our Birmingham studios, the role will include nationwide travel and a company car is included for the successful applicant. As a senior sales position, there may be requirements for overnight stays and out of hours working on occasion, so a flexible approach to this is necessary.
